BEES: Though the Calderdale Bee-keeping Association thought the secluded wild area towards the North East corner of the cemetery would be excellent for bees, they have not found anyone wanting to establish a hive here. There is therefore still a vacancy for someone wanting to grow their own honey. The Association provides advice and training to its members.
